Changing keyboard settings from US to UK

Do you keep pulling your hair out when trying to type @ and all you seam to get is " ?? Well this is because your computer keyboard settings are set to US and not UK, This tutorial is going to show you how to change this



Step One

Click Start and select Control Panel

Step Two

Switch to classic view if you are not all ready in it, if you are in classic view it will display Category view.

Step Three

Double click Regional and Language options

Step Four

Select Languages tab

Step Five

Click Details

Step Six

From the drop down box select
English (United Kingdom) - United Kingdom

Step Seven

click Apply and OK

Step eight

click Apply and OK

Step nine

Close control panel

Please note: If you all ready have a word/text document open you will need to close and reopen the file/software for the changes to take affect.

Congratulations!! you should now have the @ key and the " key where they should be.
