Windows Vista brings with it more features for you one of which being Tablet PC Optional Components, upon enabling this feature you will be given access to the 3 features that will help you save time and even better organize your time. Windows Journal

In basic terms this is a diary or sorts, few differences being that its on your computer so its more of a digital diary that actually lets you write... yes I said write not type! can be used purely for notes, reminder lists or whatever you have in mind really. Using your mouse or ideally a touch tablet with a pen you can actually write in your journal as you would in a normal paper journal. First thoughts of this application are that its a fun and different way to add notes on your computer, either for personal uses such as a diary or business use such as reminders, notes, to do lists etc.. if that's you then this is a feature you should have a play around with as soon as you can. windows journal can also be used on a Tablet PC.

Handwriting Recognition

This is not really a separate program as such, it works along side windows journal to better understand your handwriting and let you write with more ease it will actually sharpen up your handwriting as you are writing it. nifty little feature.

Snipping Tool

This is a great tool that is essentially used to take screen shots and can save you a lot of time, I use this toll mostly for this site, it saves me tons of hassle compared to my old method (windows xp and paint). If you take screen shoots for any reason I would recommend using this tool, I'm sure you wont be disappointed after giving it a go. The 3 above features/programs will all be available to you once you have enabled Tablet PC Optional Components, you can enable this by following my tutorial. If nothing else once you have enabled this feature you will have more fun and save time.. its worth enabling for them two alone.
