How To Shutdown Your Computer The Right Way
When you turn a computer off running windows XP the right way to turn your computer off is by using the shutdown button, not the off switch! using the off switch can cause memory issues or cause Programs to now save fully before closing, on rare occasions turning your computer off by the switch can cause a blue screen of death and that's not what you want the next time you turn on your computer is it?

Step Two
Click Turn off Computer
Step Three
Click Turn Off
Congrats!
Now your computer will shut down (saving everything first) and tidying up fully. This will also save you them few minutes after turning your computer on after just turning if off with the switch because when you just switch it off the next time you turn the computer on it will scan the hard drive for errors. But shutting down your computer the right way will stop this scan from happening, meaning that you computer will boot quicker!
