How to View Hidden and System Files

This tutorial will show how you can view files and folders on your computer that by default windows XP hides from you, You are going to need to be able to view these files to do some of the other tutorials in Adams Tutorials, which is the reason why I wrote this. If you are required to do this for an other tutorial you don't have to worry about losing this page as i will link back to this page if its needed.
Now!! On to the tutorial...



Step One


Open 'My Computer'
you can do this by either double clicking the My Computer icon on the desktop or if you don't have an icon there you can Click on start and then my computer

Click on 'Tools'

Click 'Folder Options'

Select the 'View tab'

Select 'Show hidden files and folders'

Click 'OK'

Close the 'My Computer' window

Well done! You are now able to view all the Hidden Files and Folder within your Windows Xp Operating System.
