What Version Of Windows Are You Using?
I know from personal experience that quite a lot of people out there don't know what version of Windows they are using, so I've wrote this tutorial to show you how you can find out very quickly. By the end of this tutorial you will know what Version of Windows you are using and what Service Pack you are using.
Step One
Click on Start and Select Run
Or
Hold down the Windows key and press R
Step Two
Type in winver then Click OK.
Step Three
Now you will see a window similar to below.
As you can see from the image below this Edition of Windows is Windows XP Home Edition
The Version Information that you will see will differ from mine
Finished
That's all there is to it, if you look again in the image above you will also see that it informs you what SP (Service Pack) you have installed. (Service Packs are Microsoft Windows Update).
